April Aire air cleaners can trap mold and pollen spores (3-10 Microns) with an efficiency of 85% – 99%, depending on the model you choose.
A “Bartlett Best” air cleaner option is the Infinity Air Purifier. Not only does the Infinity Air Purifier capture pathogens on the filter (like typical systems), but it has germicidal technology that also kills pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and mold. This filter does not make “zapping” noises as many electronic air cleaners do. The Infinity Air Purifier has a MERV 15, which indicates that the filter achieves 85-95% efficiency for even the smallest particles tested.
